Some sidenotes: Jenny twittered the death of Punk Rock Mommy. The blogosphere noticed the death of Tom Disch. The two have in common having a blog which they kept going until the end. Both knew that they would die (one of cancer, the other in suicide), one makes it a subject of her blog, the other doesn’t. And: The comments to their last blog post are, well, a change from the usual bloggy lightness. Back in 2003 Wired wrote an article on it, titled: “Online, Some Bloggers Never Die”.
