Cartoon

The pupil was talking about his dreams and what he wanted to do in life.

The Master listened, then he put his forefinger near the pupil’s mouth.

The pupil stopped talking, but the Master said “Go on!” and so the pupil went on describing what he saw in his future.

Then the Master took his finger back, put it in his mouth and licked it a bit.

Again the pupil stopped talking. Bewildered he watched what was happening.

The Master said: “Your plans are nothing but dreams. I am missing the salty taste of sweat.”

It’s like wanting and wishing. You only really want something if you also do everything necessary in your power to achieve it. If you don’t do everything in your power you only wish it which means that you merely find the goal desirable.
I liked the story!
