Sorry folks, still haven’t connected my browser to the otherwise wonderful Powerbook. But working on it. Until then, here a first and primitive attempt at drawing directly on the computer. Not to great, I know. But I’m trying!

Wow! It looks great! The only problem with a Powerbook (heh!) is that you don’t get all the free software you do with an iBook. However, that’s a good problem to have!
Are you having problems with your internet connection? Or just using Safari as a browser? Have you tried calling AppleCare for help?
The Apple support team has walked me through a lot of “how to” stuff. I looked up the number for Germany: (49) 01805 009 433, although you probably already know it. (I can be irritatingly pushy when trying to help out, I know.)

Hi Bonnie, thanks! The thing is, that my problems are HPs fault. And mine. I have lost the CD with the ScanJet-Driver - and a new CD costs 14 Euro… ;-(. For some reason it’s not downloadable on the HP-Website.
And another thing: Elli is getting an iBook tomorrow!
(Which means, that my problems couldn’t discourage her.)

This reminds me of Monty Python’s sketch “The Philosopher’s Soccer Match”.

I used to have a link to all the Monty Python sketches online, but the site seems to have vanished

Hey Dushan, in case you really don’t know the sketch, though I imagine you must, here it is:
